These Terms of Use & Privacy Policy constitute a legally binding agreement made between you and Nova.

In that way, you declare that the data and information provided by you in this Terms of Use & privacy policy are accurate, complete and true, and undertake to inform Adam’s Choice if any changes occur to them. You accept the terms and conditions of the Adam’s Choice website as defined below.

Adam’s Choice Team thanks you for your interest in our website (adamschoice.com). We value your privacy and respect the confidentiality of the personal data you have provided to us and/or will provide in the future.

For the purposes of. and according to GDPR definitions and terms, Nova is considered the data controller regarding the processing of personal data in the Adam’s Choice website.

This Privacy Policy is an integral part of the Adam’s Choice Website Terms of Use & privacy policy and governs the collection and processing of personal data provided by users on any part of the website, as well as the exercise of their rights with respect to this data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Any links to websites outside of Adam’s Choice Website are not covered by this privacy policy. We recommend reading the privacy and data confidentiality policies of these websites, as we cannot be responsible for their privacy practices.

When and how we collect your personal data
Nova assures visitors to this Adam’s Choice website respect for their privacy.

Visiting this website, by itself, does not imply the automatic registration of any personal data that identifies you, except through your IP address and temporary file storage, also known as cookies, which allow us to collect information about the hardware of your equipment and your interactions with our website. Who has access to your personal data
Nova is the entity responsible for processing the users’ personal data of its services and its websites (such as adamschoice.com). Nova makes sure that its partners are subject to confidentiality obligations regarding this data that are no less rigid than Nova's.

When establishing relationships with external service providers, processing data on behalf of Nova, these entities are required to act following our internal data security and confidentiality policies when processing user data. As a rule, Nova does not share users’ personal data with third parties with whom it has not entered into a contractual relationship that provides for the confidential treatment of such data following Nova's privacy statement. The purposes of the personal data processing are the management of training programs organized by Nova and the sending of communications.

What are your rights concerning your personal data
Under the terms provided by law, the user is guaranteed, at any time, the right to request from the controller access to and rectification or erasure of personal data or restriction of processing concerning the data subject or to object to processing as well as the right to data portability.

These requests should be addressed to Adam’s Choice Team, formalized by email to adams.choice@novasbe.pt or to Nova’s DPO, at nf.dpo@novasbe.pt.

The data subjects also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, namely Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).

How long do we store your information
We will keep your personal information as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected.

If you decide to unsubscribe from a service (e.g. newsletter), we will keep the personal details necessary to ensure that no unwanted communications will be sent to you.

Please note that at any time you may request the deletion of all your personal data from our databases. This request should be sent to adams.choice@novasbe.pt.

How we protect your personal data
Nova makes its best efforts to protect users’ personal data against unauthorized access via the Internet. To this end, it uses security systems, rules, and other procedures to ensure the protection of personal data as well as to prevent unauthorized access to, misuse, disclosure, loss or destruction of personal data.

However, it is your responsibility to guarantee and ensure that the computer you are using is adequately protected against harmful software, computer viruses, and worms. However, please note that whenever data are collected on open networks such as the Internet, your data may circulate unsafely and may be seen and used by unauthorized third parties.
